Updated over 2 weeks ago

Important: Read Before Proceeding

This guide is intended only for users who currently have access to their current 2FA device/setup or a backup method (such as Passkeys).

Lost access to your device?

If you cannot access your authenticator app (e.g., lost phone, factory reset, or sync issues) and do not have a backup Passkey enabled, you cannot disable 2FA yourself. Please [Submit a ticket] to our Customer Support team for a manual reset.

Hata does not recommend disabling your two-factor authentication.
However, if you wish to do so, please follow the steps below:

  • Log in into your Hata Account. Navigate to Profile. Select [Security].

  • Select [Two-Factor Authentication].

  • Confirm if you want to disable two-factor authentication.

  • Enter the code showing in the authenticator app.

  • You've successfully disabled your two-factor authentication.
